and not every source has the kinks worked out yet for direct feeding

You can listen to a Podcast (MP3) file on an Apple iPod, other MP3 players,
on your computer and on some of the newer cell phones and PDAs (Personal
Digital Assistant, such as a Blackberry if you have th right software
installed). You can also listen to it on your computer. Depending on
the source, the audio may need to be downloaded or it will
stream to your computer as soon as you press the play button (if one
appears). The time it takes for audio to download will depend on the
speed of your internet connection..
